The new Xbox dashboard is finally here and with it comes a new Avatar system.
PimpMyGamercard gamercards may be unavailable for a short period while we make
some code changes to adapt to the new update from Microsoft.

Bungie changes source code again

It appears that Bungie has changed their source code once again
for the Halo 3 stats page which is forcing me to rewrite the php script.
Some of the old preg_match() is failing due to source changes.
And just when I decided to begin production on the first release stats cards.
Here I am back at the cutting block.The following forum thread contains information on what type of variables will be made available to the Halo 3 stats cards.

Goliath has inspired me to write Team cards which will allow a user to enter their Team name
and up to four gamertags to display a Team card.

Updates on hold.
Unfortunately, PMGC updates have been put on hold. Time has become my enemy and I am unable to spend much of it online lately.This website may very well lie dormant for quite some time.
If anyone is interested in progressing the site or the script, feel free to contact me.
Hopefully, as the year winds down, I will have more time to dedicate to PMGC and bring new gamercards and get the Stats cards released.
But for right now, with the lack of staff, I am unable to complete alot myself.
We are not going anywhere so feel free to utilize what is available.
Eventually, we will return with more of a staff and bring more content.

New Hosting Provider
As promised, PimpMyGamercard has officially switched hosts.
We can already see drastic improvements in http response and script execution times
which makes it worth the effort.
Please bear with us as we gradually rebuild the content areas.
Almost 99% of the content has to be recreated due to the database and cms differences.
We decided to go with the latest Drupal version and do away with the SMF forum.

We have kept Master Chief waiting long enough.

So get ready Halo fans!

Major League Baseball Gamercards added

Continuing our Sports series. we present baseball fans a way
to proudly display their favorite MLB team logo in their Xbox Live gamercard.

You may also choose from the MLB,American or National League logos.

NFL Team Gamercards added

In part of our Sports endeavor, we have added football gamercards.
Now you can choose from your favorite NFL team and display their logo
in your gamercard.
This is in its early stages, so expect the images to become better soon.

In time, more sports gamercards will be released.
We are also working on MLB and NBA.

The new script transition has went better than expected.
Some of you may have noticed that current linked cards have either disappeared
or show as a default gamercard.This is because alot of card locations have actually changed.

The new files allow us to expand into more areas of development.
Please update your gamercard if it is not working.

With the new script in place, we can begin creating more cards with ease.
NOTE: PSD's must be provided before we will even begin the creation process.
If you require any special fonts, please also include them.

A new feature being integrated is prefix-specific gamercards.
Use for your clan as a recruiting tool or simply to have your own private gamercard
which will only work for your Clan roster.
The tag-specific cards only work for approved gamertags or those containing your clan letters.

New development update.
Recent additions have forced us to change the way the gamercard script interacts.
It is now seperated into a hierarchy folder structure with the main index becoming
simply a pointer now instead of the workhorse.
Sections have been created to allow more of a mini-cms feel with plans of an admin
control panel soon.These sections are classified per type of use and each section
has its very own theme center.
New Additions to the new script has included jpg and gif to the extensions type
and an off-site location to better serve the data stream and protect content.
We have pulled apart the original script with its extensive variable list and split it
into divisions related to request.The Xbox data is now in its own fetch file seperate
from any other fetch variable files.
